THE SPRAY-ON PROCESS

HI-TECH LINERS are a 100% polyurea coating applied hot
and under high pressure. This creates the strongest, most
flexible protection in the industry, with the highest rated
material strength, flexibility, and fade resistance available.

Material Strength is critical in preventing damage to your
liner through tearing, chipping, and abrasion damage.

Flexibility is essential since your liner must remain bonded
as your bed expands and contracts. This keeps the liner
attached to your bed and prevents warping, cracking, and
other stress damage.

Fade Resistance is essential to having your liner look great for years to come. Nothing on your vehicle is completely UV stable. The manufacturer will not warranty any part of your vehicle against fading, including the paint job and all the rubber/vinyl trim. Our 100% polyurea coating offers superior fade resistance.

The following is an excerpt from Truck Trend magazine, October 1999 issue:

"While most spray-on bedliners are made of polyurethane formulas that are 100% solids, a few companies offer a different type of formula. For instance, Specialty Products, Inc.(SPI) offers a pure polyurea coating. Unlike polyurethane, it doesn't require a catalyst, so dealers can use less expensive equipment to apply it. SPI says polyurea also doesn't suffer from blistering when applied in high humidity, which has been a problem with polyurethane formulas. In contrast, polyurethane bedliner companies say using polyurea on a truck bed is overkill; it normally is used for serious industrial applications."

The polyurethane formulators are correct in stating that our polyureas are used for "serious applications". Considering that 100% solids, pure polyurea Full Metal Jacket is the most user-friendly of all heated plural component bedliner materials, as well as being very competitive in price compared to the "non-industrial" products on the market, We take the "overkill" comment as a compliment.
